Glamazons vs The Curse of the Chainmail Bikini

Created by Prettiest Princess Games

The Glamazons have been pushed to the brink, not by monsters - monster killing is easy - but by the tasteless medieval blacksmiths and sweaty cave dwellers who design useless femme armor! Help our intrepid heroes smash, bash and crash through minotaur heads, kappa shells, and the male gaze in their quest to be the first Glamazon decked out in gear that not only looks fab but provides real monster fighting protection.

Hi, remember us?
about 5 years ago – Thu, Dec 19, 2019 at 07:32:39 PM

Quick update... Now that it’s all stacked up in our possession, I’m beyond relieved and excited to announce that Glamazons exists!

I paid for BackerKit to help make sure we get correct addresses for all of you so expect that shortly once they do their final check/approval (though they are off for the holiday week so it’ll either be in the next day or two, or not till the first week of 2020). We’re planning to start shipping a week or so after the BK goes live and it’s all going out USPS priority mail so you should be getting the game pretty soon. We already started packing them up, so they are ready when we get addresses.

If you’re local, you can come pick it up any time Elm City Games is open or otherwise make arrangements with me.

More details on process and all that to come.

As always, hit me up if you have any questions or complaints - [email protected] 203-524-5756 (text first or I probably won’t pick up).

I’ll probably write something longer and more emotional later, but for now I’ll just say that your support through all of this has meant the world.

Hugs and kisses,
Trish & Anna & Matt

Important Update
about 6 years ago – Tue, Nov 20, 2018 at 11:05:24 PM

Short version:

The digital proof is on my desk right now.

I wanted to wait to update until the actual full production run was through customs and getting shipped out to backers, but with PAX Unplugged next week we decided we want to show off what we’ve got at the booth so we’re sharing a bit early.

There are some final details we need to fix with the factory, but they have our money and things are moving forward.

If you’re at PAX Unplugged come by booth 2533 and you can play what is mostly a final production version of the game.

Longer version:

Ask me.

It’s been a long time nightmare getting this thing done but I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel. A new publishing company I’m part of, killjoy, will be the actual publisher of record now and someone that’s not me is handling all the project management and logistics. I just gave us the money and the mostly done files and now it’s largely out of my hands other than the occasional approval of something on the creative side.

I’m not going to make any sort of estimate as to when you’ll actually get your copy of the game, but as I’ve continued to say, it’s going to happen.

Another important note is that after revisiting a conversation from very early in the design process, we’ve decided to give Trish full codesigner credit as she did a ton of work in shaping the game into what it eventually became. (Adding her name to the front of the box is one of the slight changes we need to make to the files.)

So yeah, it looks pretty dope and is physically a real thing now.

As always, I’m happy to talk about whatever about it, even if you just want to tell me how disappointing I am. Thanks so much for sticking with me through all this.
